| Glinx always allowed different types of connections, PPP, SLIP etc.. Our servers now will not only do scripts to allow different connections but allow what is called PAP which automatically connects with PPP. Some users may already be using PAP, so follow along the best you can. | ||||||

| 1 | Remove the Scripting Tool Open "My Computer". Open "Control Panel". Open "Add/Remove Programs". Ensure the "Install/Uninstall" tab is selected. Look for "Dial-Up Scripting Tool" in the list. If you do not see "Dial-Up Scripting Tool", you do not have it installed. Close all windows and go to next step. Click on "Dial-Up Scripting Tool" to select it. Click the "Add/Remove" button. "Dial-Up Scripting Tool" should no longer appear in the list Click the "OK" button. Close all open windows. | |||||
| 2 | Remove Script Reference From Dial-Up Connection. Open "My Computer". Open "Dial-Up Networking". Right-click your Glinx connection. A menu will appear. In the pop-up menu click "Properties". Depending on your version of Windows 95, you will either see three (3) tabs or one(1). If you only have one tab skip to the next step. Click on the "Scripting" tab. The "File name" text box should be empty. If you see text in it, make it empty. Depending on your version of Windows 95, you will either see three (3) tabs or one(1). If you only have one tab skip to the next step. Click the "OK" button. Close all open windows. | |||||

Use your Glinx Connection as usual. Now, when you use Dial-Up Networking or the Connection Manager it will not use a script to log you in, you may not even notice the difference. | ||||||
